Unity Engine - 2005

Unity Engine is a game engine developed by Unity Technologies, first used in 2005 for MacOS titles, it has become a common engine for cross-platform and mobile development. In 2023 they announced they would charge per-install royalties to their developers, prompting many to switch away from Unity.
